Private Mobile Safaris:
Private Mobile Safaris are a very exclusive alternative
to permanent and semi-permanent safari lodges and
camps. Your private camp is set up by a separate
vehicle and camp team in remote exclusive camping
areas within the wildlife reserves. When traveling
between camping areas, your camp is taken down and
re-erected in the new site ready for your arrival.
Accommodation is in comfortable, walk in, insect
proof tents, with camp beds and duvets. Depending
on the level of luxury you chose, your tent may
have ensuite shower and toilet facilities. Alternatively,
a toilet tent and shower tent will be erected nearby.
Each meal will be a special experience - imagine
lunch sheltering under the shady bough of a spreading
acacia or dinner beneath the star filled African
sky.
Your safari guide is probably the most important
person in your African travels, and a good guide
is able to bring the bush to life, with a host of
anecdotes and observations that add new layers of
understanding to both the natural world and social
systems of the area you are visiting. The best guides
will also know when to be quiet, when to let the
beauty of your surroundings filter through in silence,
when to leave you at peace with your thoughts. We
can arrange for you to be accompanied by a guide
of your choice, specify individuals or request a
guide with the specialist knowledge that matches
your interests and expertise . |
