Funzi
Keys
Designed to blend unobtrusively with its idyllic beachfront setting and to reflect the influence of the local culture and coastal architecture, the accommodation consists of nine spacious beach front cottages set along the high-water line and in addition the recently added garden cottages located behind the beach front cottages. The cottages are constructed of stone and thatch with large netted windows open to the balmy sea breezes. All of the individually designed rooms have a hand carved king-sized four-poster bed and are furnished with local wooden artefacts and colourful fabrics. In addition, the beach front cottages each have a Jacuzzi with stunning sea view.
Four chefs for only 18 guests allow you to have whatever you would like to eat at whatever time you may desire so. At your own private sitting area in front of your cottage you can enjoy a drink, watch the sun go down and have a romantic dinner in total privacy.
In addition to a wide range of water sports activities you can enjoy wonderful excursions to nearby sandbanks that appear out of the water at low tide. Enjoy a delicious meal on one of these sandbanks under the shade of a makuti roof right next to the turquiose water - a true while admittedly luxurious Robinson Crusoe experience.
