Lake Nakuru is one of the alkaline Rift Valley lakes with its shores populated at times by more than one million flamingos which has been called "the greatest bird spectacle on earth". Game drives offer the opportunity to get as close as ten meters to this spectacle and to see elephants, giraffe, rhino and the elusive tree climbing lions.

A particular attraction of Lake Nakuru is the variety of wildlife combined with its striking and varied landscapes - driving through the savannah, passing by the lake and the swamps and negotiating the rocky path up to the baboon cliffs with their stunning views across the entire park will create a sense of wonder and admiration in even the most travelled visitor.
