 The Makuti House
The premises of Mdoroni are tucked into a gentle curve at the mouth of Kilifi Creek, about 35 miles north of Mombasa. The property consists of two fully furnished and equipped four-bedroom houses, with a swimming pool in between. One of them is The Makuti House which has amazing views from its panoramic terrace, up and down Kilifi Creek and out to sea. The Makuti House, an arab style house, is designed around a central courtyard which is furnished for living and dining. The house has an airy and cool atmosphere, particulary due to the courtyard open to the sky. Simply decorated in white paint with some Mirella Ricciardi Lithographs and Indian embroideries hung on the walls. The furniture is mostly Swahili and Indian. The House sleeps 8-10 in four bedrooms with ceiling fans and ensuite bathrooms, with cook and full staff. In addition to that, all pillows and bed linen are provided. With regard to its size, this house is ideally suited for an extended family or a number of couples that like to holiday together. You approach the houses down a long avenue of flamboyant trees, when the scarlet blossoms are overhead in December it is a wonderful sight. Giant Baobab trees shade the private steps leading down the coral gardened cliff to the sandy beach, there is heavenly swimming at any tide and at low tide one can walk either up the creek to the Mnarani Club or follow the cliff around, even all the way to Takaungu. There is a private mooring for a boat just off the beach. Relaxing, sunbathing, go sightseeing; snorkelling, diving and birdwatching, dhow cruises, watersports and deep sea fishing are all available. Some of the acitivities must be arranged with the Mnarani Club not far from the house.
 Mombasa Serena
Mombasa Serena is set amongst bougaivaille-filled gardens on the North Coast of Momabasa. The hotel is designed to look like a Swahili village with narrow streets and courtyards with fountains and is decorated accordingly with carved wooden furniture and decorations.

Accomodation is offered in 166 rooms that are large and tastefully furnished, with large double beds and Swahili style details. The gardens in the hotel are attractive, and the pool overlooks the beach.
 Mombasa Train
You will spend the night in a first class cabin on the night train to Mombasa. The first class converts from seats to sleeping berths at night with full bedding, with two berths per compartment plus washbasin and the fare includes dinner and breakfast in the restaurant car.
 Nyali Beach Hotel
Located at the North Coast of Mombasa, Nyali Beach Hotel is on 20 acres of land of flamboyant tropical gardens that border one of the finest beaches in the world. Coconut palms and casuarina trees fringe a ribbon of snow-white sand, and beyond are the warm clear waters of the Indian Ocean.

 Pink House

Designed by Andrew Melesi in 2006, The Pink House is an eclectic mix of architectural references. With two downstairs bedrooms and two upstairs bedrooms this house sleeps 9. The downstairs dining room is a large-scale room, tall ceilings with 6 Moroccan style doors to the outside. It is light and airy, a large dhow wood table seats 16. On the first floor a living room is situated with arguably the best view overlooking the mouth of the Creek. Two huge, heavily cushioned dhow wood sofas and some colonial chairs provide comfortable seating and repose. A spiral staircase leads up to the spectacular roof terrace where the sunset looks even more dramatic. The house is furnished comfortably and simply with Swahili, Indian and Colonial wooden furniture. All rooms have ceiling fans. All pillows and bed linen are provided.  Royal Court
Conveniently located close to the airport and the city, the Royal Court Hotel offers most amenities one would expect from a city hotel, including phones, air conditioning and safes. There is an assortment of rooms ranging from doubles, twins, family rooms, adjoining rooms and even rooms with disability facilities. The hotel has a gym, steam room, sauna and swimming pool on the rooftop.
 Tijara Beach

 Whitesands
Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort is located on the north coast of Mombasa and has a beautiful beach front of white sandy beaches. It is set in tropical gardens with swaying palm trees and fish ponds and features five free form swimming pools with waterfalls, a secluded island and an exhilarating waterslide. The reception has a distinct coastal feel with carved archways and murals depicting scenes from Kenya 's coast.
