Tsavo West is one of the most beautiful parks in East Africa with diverse landscapes - rugged mountains like the Ngulia, open grassland, acacia thickets, swamps and steep escarpments. It offers abundant wildlife which is easier to spot at water holes and especially during the dry season when shrubs have not over grown.
There are many abundant springs in the park, among them the picturesque and crystal clear Mzima springs, where you will be able to finally discover what hippos do below the waterline!
The Shetani Caves and Shetani lava, the Roaring Rock, Poachers Lookout and the Rhino Sanctuary offer additional attraction. The Chyulu Hills National Park lies just opposite the Park and is a convenient spot to visit, with spectacular views of
Kilimanjaro.
During your game drives, you will be able to watch lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, gazelles, antelopes and wildebeests. In addition, there are many possibilities for short walks on the rocky hills which offer great views of the breathtaking landscapes.
