 Barra Lodge Beach Resort
Barra Lodge is set a picturesque area, with spectacular views of pristine beaches and the crystal clear waters of the Indian Ocean. From the historical city of Inhambane it is only a 30 minute drive to the Lodge. It is nestled amongst groves of coconut trees and the warm Indian Ocean offers safe bathing all year round, whilst the wide open, sun-drenched beaches offer endless hours of strolling pleasure. Barra has 16 twin bedded casitas, 4 family casitas, 20 self catering cottages and 2 bunk houses. There is also a luxurious Live Aboard Yacht. The traditional casitas are made of thatch, brick and reeds create a charming atmosphere. They are fitted with two beds, en suite bathroom with shower and toilet. All have sea views and are a stones throw from the beach. The restaurant offers fresh seafood including prawns, calamari and fresh line fish. Enjoy your meal indoors or outdoors on the patio overlooking the pool. Guests can enjoy beautiful sunsets, participate in beach volley ball, pub games or simply sip and enjoy a drink. The largely unexplored reefs within close proximity to the lodge offers endless pleasure for scuba-diving and snorkeling.
 Flamingo Bay Water Lodge
Flocks of flamingos, tropical fish, the very rare dugong and incredible sunsets await you at the idyllic Flamingo Bay Water Lodge at the azure waters on the southern coast of Mozambique. Flamingo Bay Water Lodge is situated on stilts, right in the water, on the pristine tidal bay of Inhambane, Mozambique. This eco-paradise has 20 luxury water chalets that are spacious and well appointed. Each has a balcony with wide opening sliding doors and loungers where guests can enjoy beautiful views of the ocean. Furniture is constructed from beautiful local hardwoods from Mozambique itself. All rooms have en-suite showers and toilets plus air condition, and each is connected to the main building by a wooden walkway and has its own steps down into the ocean. An elegant restaurant overlooks the inviting swimming pool which merges into the view across the bay. Nothing could feel more glamorous than enjoy a cocktail on the spacious pool deck while watching the sun set over the warm ocean. The gourmet restaurant offers sumptuous meals specialising in the local dishes of Mozambique including fresh prawns, fish, crabs and calamari. All are caught locally. Sunbathing, swimming, snorkelling and boating may be enjoyed directly from each chalet in addition to diving, fishing and horse riding.
 Pomene Lodge
The lodge is situated on the Pomene Reserve, a narrow peninsula with the Indian Ocean lapping at its front doorstep and crystal clear waters of a spectacular mangrove estuary lapping on the other. Pomene Lodge is advantageously located in the Pomene Bay offering a sheltered haven for swimming. Accommodation consists of five 3-roomed chalets that sleep 6 guests, one 1-roomed chalet that sleeps three, and two 2-roomed chalets that sleep 4 guests. The chalets have en suite showers with hot water, toilets and basins. All beds are fitted with mosquito nets. The restaurant, overlooking the ocean has superb views and specializes in sea food with fresh fish and crab as menu favourites. However, meals to suit all tastes are on offered. The bar overlooks the pool and estuary, a perfect spot for sunsets and fishing tales. Here one may enjoy a meal on the restaurant balcony on the banks of the estuary. A number of activities including diving, horse riding, fishing, quad trails and sea kayaks are available.
