 Nkwichi Lodge
Nkwichi Lodge, located on the Mozambican shores of Lake Malawi, is set in a private area with four kilometres of beaches and rocky shoreline, rivers, forest and bush.
Built by the lodge staff, Nkwichi has been innovatively designed and constructed using a mix of traditional local methods and western styles, specifically to blend with the natural environment. Each chalet has a different design and all have private bathrooms with baths set in the rocks and showers hanging from trees. The chalets have been set back from the lakeshore making them invisible from the lake. They are also far enough apart to give a sense of total privacy but not of isolation.
