Moivaro Lake
Natron Tented Camp
Lake Natron Tented Camp is a simple tented camp located north of Oldonyo Lengai, the Masai Mountain of God in the heart of Maasai-land. With views to the mountain and Lake Natron, it is spectacularly situated, far from the main tourist circuit. It offers an ideal stop over for those adventurous enough to take the route to Serengeti through Loliondo Game Controlled area instead of the busy road from Ngorongoro Crater.
The safari tents offer showers, comfortable beds and a verandah with your own private view of the incredible landscape. A fully stocked bar and restaurant ensures you have a cold drink and good food at the end of an arduous climb, or long days walking. |

Lake Natron Camp
Ngare Sero Lake Natron Camp is located on the southern end of Lake Natron on old volcanic flows at the lake's edge, which places it strategically for panoramic views of the Rift Valley in all directions. The camp features a mess tent and offers accommodation for eight people in four tents with a unique design. The tents are covered with a net to keep them cool inside and are a different world from the scorching heat outside. The vegetation around the tents features tufts of reeds that grow along streams that spring from underground to emmerge close to the mess tent forming natural pools and flowing along the tents. Guests can take a dip into these pools and cool off in the heat of the day, enjoy spectacular morning, evening, and night walks about the spacious flats that surround the lake as well as camp out under the stars on the dry expanse. |
