Suyan Camp
Suyan Camp ()
Suyan is a seasonal camp located in a private concession area to the east of the Serengeti. For thousands of years, the rugged Loliondo area has been the territory of nomadic tribes, hunting and herding for a living. A stay in the intimate Suyan Camp reflects the history of the land. Although the camp is the home base of a stay in the area, walking safaris and nights of fly camping will take exploring travellers deep into the wild and ancient land, finding wildlife, mountains, gorges, volcanos, cultural experiences at Maasai settlements and the peace and tranquility of endless nature with not a human soul in sight. Furthermore, game drives can be done inside and outside the Serengeti.
Far away from the crowds, Suyan’s five beautifully designed guest tents are located in a way that you can enjoy the amazing landscape featuring woodland savanna and hills surrounding the Serengeti from your private veranda. The camp offers gourmet food, great wines and all the comforts you can possibly expect. Yet a stay in Suyan Camp is not about luxury; it is about discovery, exploration and nature in its overwhelming totality. |
