Gibbs Farm:

Gibbs Farm is an oasis of green, calm and beauty located at the entrance to the Highlands, midway between Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Crater. The Lodge offers 20 twin rooms with ensuite bathrooms, set among the gardens. The main facilities, consisting of a sitting room, reading room, dining room (which serves fresh, home-cooked meals), bar and gift shop, are situated in the old farmhouse. In cooler evenings one can relax by the fireside, but most of the time guests want to be outside, enjoying the gardens and the view of miles and miles of coffee plantation.


Ngorongoro Farm House:

Ngorongoro Farm House is a small lodge 5 kms from the entrance to the Ngorongoro conservation area. Accommodation is offered in 51 spacious cottages in the style of an old colonial farm and rustically decorated with many charming details and local materials. Owing to their size, the rooms have an ambience that captures the essence gracious country living. The farm comprises a 15 acre coffee plantation, an organic vegetable and flower garden, pigs, free range chicken, ducks, rabbit, lamb and dairy cows. The farm combines fresh foods with the fish imported from the coast to serve up organic cuisine. The house has dining rooms, bar, library and lounge with a fireplace. Guest areas include a swimming pool with views of Oldeani Volcano and a craft shop. Guests can enjoy walking safaris to the forest leading to the Oldeani Volcano or an excursion to the nearby Lake Eyasi in the Rift Valley which is still inhabited by a tribe of hunter-gatherers who still pursue their ancient life style. A visit to the Karatu village and the local school offers an opportunity for authentic cultural interaction.


Plantation Lodge:

Plantation Lodge is situated about 30 kms from the Ngorongoro Crater. Neatly tucked away on a coffee farm in the hills, the lodge offers its guests relaxation in a luxurious and private setting with a very personal touch. The stunning views of sweeping hills with thick green vegetation, the beautiful gardens and the staff who pamper you make you want to stay. At the end of the garden is a pool which overlooks the valleys below and is a welcome relief when it gets hot. The lodge's decor features a European-African theme and all rooms are decorated individually. The 14 double rooms are well appointed and each have their own veranda and bathroom.


Lemala Luxury Camp Ngorongoro:

Lemala Ngorongoro is an intimate camp on the rim of the crater offering luxury accommodation under canvas in large spacious tents with wooden platform and rugs. Each tent has 2 large single beds or a king size double bed with thick duvets for warmth and comfort, a heater to warm the tent, and a private bathroom that includes a dressing area, flush loo, shower and basin with running water. There are only 8 tents in the private concession to ensure privacy and seclusion. The mess area is beautifully furnished with grand sofas, lamps, book and corner cabinets in old wood, chests and rugs. Meals are served al fresco or inside the mess and all guests are invited to sit together with the naturalist at dinner time. Laundry and house beverages (wine, beer, spirits, soda, water, tea and coffee) are included at meal time. Lemala Ngorongoro offers great charm and luxury in a delightful prime location on the rim of the crater. The entry route into the Crater is 5 minutes away and is used by very few vehicles. Guests are thus treated to a quiet game drive compared to the other side of the Crater. The scenery is stunning and the wildlife abundant as you descend into the Crater.


Ngorongoro Crater Lodge:

Inspired in design by the Maasai mud-and-stick homestead, Ngorongoro Crater Lodge is one of the most spectacular safari lodges in Africa. It is perched on the edge of Ngorongoro Crater and offers spectacular views into the crater. Wild buffaloes abound, zebras bray out their ”good morning” as you open the balcony door to breathe in the crisp mountain air, warm, scented tub baths with a flickering candle to add that touch of romance and magic. Sipping an early evening gin tonic on the terrasse and watching the wildlife down in the crater while the last rays of the sun paint the scene in a golden light is a magical experience which is matched by the electrically heated mattrasses that ensure a cosy night in spite of sometimes chilly outside temperatures.


Ngorongoro Serena Lodge:

Built into the rim of a collapsed volcano, the Ngorongoro Serena Lodge's ivy-covered tumbling stone-walled rooms blend well with the surrounding bush and woodland. Accommodation is offered in 75 comfortable and eco-friendly rooms strung around the Ngo-rongoro Crater rim. Most of them have private terraces with views over the Ngorongoro Crater and Highlands where countless animals make their home. The bar and dining areas are well designed to take advantage of the lodge's exceptional location.


Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge:

Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge is located on the eastern rim of the crater adjacent to one of the only two access roads into the crater itself. It has a spacious lobby and bar-lounge from which guests have panoramic views of the crater, and a large, high ceiling dining room. It is the only lodge on the crater rim that offers its guests a pool which is located in a grassy patio area ideal for viewing of sunsets. Accommodation is offered in 92 suites, each with central heating, a private lounge with a mini bar, a bedroom with two queen-size beds and ample room for a third, an en-suite bathroom and a private solarium which offers stunning views either down into the crater floor below or of the setting sun over the western horizon. Guests can catch sight of elephants or buffalos walking outside the lodge at night from their rocking chairs in their rooms.
