 Fundu Lagoon
Fundu Lagoon is situated on a remote and peaceful beach on the southwest of Pemba Island and is only accessible by boat. It has a luxurious Robinson Crusoe ambience and features a cosy lounge area and a jetty bar from which guests can enjoy breathtaking sunsets while sipping one of the delicious cocktails. The main areas are all built under thatch and are large, airy and overlook the ocean.
There are sixteen tented bungalows set under thatch roofs on wooden decks. Some of them are situated along the beachfront with the remaining ones on an elevated position with beautiful views over the lagoon and the ocean. The rooms are equipped with large double or twin beds, mosquito nets, ceiling and standing fans, and indoor and outdoor sitting areas. Each has an ensuite bathroom with hot water shower. Four of the bungalows are suites with their own private chill out decks and plunge pools and two of them have extensive space to relax and a large plunge pool. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the main area or at the jetty bar with a three course lunch and dinner.
