Arrival in Nairobi
|
Welcome to Enchanting-Africa!
Our tour manager will receive you
at the airport in Nairobi and take
you to your hotel for check in.
Discover Nairobi, the safari capital
of Africa and a city that never seems
to sleep, by night. Experience the
fantastic music scene and one of the
many excellent restaurants.

| Day: 2 - 3 |
Aberdares |
| Drive to Aberdares
(3-4 hours)
The Aberdares offer striking mountain
scenery - a mix of the alps combined
with stretches of dense jungle and
amazing waterfalls, with the largest
a stunning 300m plunge. You can also
see lots of animals as the park has
a high concentration of buffaloes,
elephants, hyenas and the rare bongo
antelope. You can relax while fishing
at the lovely streams, explore the
waterfalls on foot or climb Lesatima
Peak, with 4000 metres the highest
point of the Aberdares with great
views of Central Kenya.

| Day: 4-5 |
Lake Nakuru |
| Drive Aberdares
– Lake Nakuru (ca. 5 hours)
Lake Nakuru is one of the alkaline
Rift Valley lakes with its shores
populated at times by more than one
million flamingos which has been called
"the greatest bird spectacle
on earth". Game drives offer
you the opportunity to get as close
as ten meters to this spectacle and
to see elephants, giraffe, rhino and
the elusive tree climbing lions. Enjoy
the variety of wildlife combined with
its striking and varied landscapes
- driving through the savannah, passing
by the lake and the swamps and negotiating
the rocky path up to the baboon cliffs
with their stunning views across the
entire park will create a sense of
wonder and admiration in even the
most travelled visitor.

Lake Naivasha |
| Drive Lake
Nakuru – Lake Naivasha (ca.
2 hours)
Lake Naivasha is a beautiful freshwater
lake, fringed by thick papyrus and
surrounded by forests which abound
with bird life, making Naivasha a
world class birding destination. Enjoy
a stunning sunset during a boat trip
on the lake, an afternoon hike or
biking trip in Hell’s Gate National
Park or a leisurely horse riding safari.
Climbing the extinct volcano Mt Longonot
makes a great day hike with amazing
views of its spectacular crater as
well as the dramatic Rift Valley and
Lake Naivasha.

| Day: 7-9 |
Masai Mara |
Drive to Airstrip
(ca. 1 hours), flight to Masai Mara
(ca. 1 hour)
The Masai Mara – endless seas
of golden grass dotted with hesitant
shrubs, broken here and there with
the ghostly acacia trees and ringed
by distant hills, the chocolate Mara
river waters with frolicking hippos,
immensely rich animal life including
countless game and large prides of
lions – fulfils the expectations
of any visitor searching the African
landscapes portrayed in movies such
as "Out of Africa". From
July to October, this is the sight
of one of the most spectacular and
dramatic sites on earth - the annual
migration of one million wildebeests
and 200,000 zebras following the seasonal
rains in a quest for the best pastures,
finding along the way the crocodile-crowded
river.

Nairobi |
Flight from Masai
Mara to Nairobi (ca. 1 hour)
Enjoy an active or relaxed day in
Nairobi. Experience one of the lively
and colourful street markets, the
fantastic music scene and one of the
many excellent restaurants. Alternatively,
discover the Karen Blixen museum,
giraffe centre where you can feed
giraffes or venture into Nairobi National
Park, just outside town, with its
cliffs and forests and large herds
of Zebra, Wildebeest, Buffalo, Giraffe
and more.
