Nairobi - Malindi
Day 1 - 4
After your arrival in Mombasa, take a drive along the coast to Malindi
Watamu Beach is guarded by beautiful tropical barrier reefs and has been voted as one of the top ten beaches in the world. The Watamu Marine Park offers excellent scuba diving, snorkelling and deep-sea fishing opportunities. There is also a tidal creek close to the hotel which is good for bird watching, fishing and sunset dhow trips while Malindi and its markets are within easy reach.
Enjoy wonderful walks along the beach, discover the beautiful marine life on snorkelling and diving excursions, embark on a dhow that takes you up Mida Creek, visit the Gedi Ruins and the Kipepeo Butterfly Project or go for guided walks in the Arabuko Sukoko Forest.
Accommodation: Turtle Bay or Che Shale

Today, you drive from the coast to Tsavo East National Park (5-6 hours).
Tsavo East National Park is a Park of vast plains and bush savannah. Tsavo is habituated with one of the largest elephant populations in the world which are easily observable as they graze in the swampy plains of the park in large or small herds. Tsavo East is relatively flat which makes it easier to spot game even far in the distance, save for the thickets which provide good cover for animals.
Except for the Galana River which is home to many crocodiles and hippos, the park is waterless with seasonal streams, waterholes and ponds which attract animals in the dry season. Common here are dik diks, the lesser kudu, giraffes, zebras and buffaloes. During your game drives, visit the scenic Livingstone Falls on the Galana River which is lined with beautiful palm trees within the backdrop of the Yatta escarpment.
Accommodation: Galdessa Camp

Cross over to Tsavo West, one of the most beautiful parks in East Africa with diverse landscapes - rugged mountains like the Ngulia, open grassland, acacia thickets, swamps and steep escarpments. It offers abundant wildlife which is easier to spot at water holes and especially during the dry season when shrubs have not over grown. There are many abundant springs in the park, among them the picturesque and crystal clear Mzima springs, where you will be able to finally discover what hippos do below the waterline!
The Shetani Caves and Shetani lava, the Roaring Rock, Poachers Lookout and the Rhino Sanctuary offer additional attraction. The Chyulu Hills National Park lies just opposite the Park and is a convenient spot to visit, with spectacular views of Kilimanjaro.
During your game drives, you will be able to watch lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, gazelles, antelopes and wildebeests. In addition, there are many possibilities for short walks on the rocky hills which offer great views of the breathtaking landscapes.
Accommodation: Ngulia Safari Camp or Finch Hatton

A 2-3 hour drive with fantastic views of Kilimanjaro brings you to Amboseli National Park at the base of the highest mountain in Africa.
The name Amboseli is derived from the Maasai word 'em-posel' for the salty dust found on the seasonally flooded Amboseli "lake" when it rains. Amboseli's swamps, plains, woodlands and bush country support a diversity of wildlife ranging from the minute and rare spectacled elephant shrew to the huge bulk of the African Elephant, the Geremuk and the Fringe-eared Oryx. The swamps and lakes are also home to over 400 bird species making the park a paradise for bird watchers.
In addition to game drives, you can enjoy beautiful early morning or late afternoon bush walks with clear views of Kilimanjaro.
Accommodation: Ol Tukai Lodge or Tortilis Camp

After a last memorable game drive, you take a flight directly to Kenya’s South Coast, with great views of the Great Rift Valley and, if skies are clear, the iconic landmark of Mt Kilimanjaro on the horizon.
Diani Beach is just 40 kilometers from Mombasa and has often been described as one of the most beautiful beaches in the World - 10 kilometers of brilliant white sand along the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean.
Gallu Beach right next to Diani beach is a paradise of brilliant white beaches, contrasting with tall swaying palm trees and the turqoise blue waters of the Indian Ocean. Much quieter than the neighbouring Diani Beach, Gallu is the ideal place for relaxing away from tourist crowds and beach boys.
If you are active, you can enjoy an amazing array of watersports including diving, snorkeling, sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, kayaking and fishing. You can also go for an excursion swimming with dolphins and snorkelling or diving in Kisite Marine National Park. Alternatively, explore Mombasa city, visit the local Digo tribe or go on a day’s excursion to the Shimba Hills National Reserve for bird watching in a tropical rain forest.
Accommodation: Pinewood Resort or Waterlovers
