Selous
Day 1 - 5
Start your journey with a scenic 45 minute flight to Selous which will give you a wonderful birds’ eye view of the many waterways traversing Africa’s largest protected wildlife reserve.

Due to its remote location, Selous has remained one of the untouched gems of Tanzania’s parks. Boating safaris offer visitors a chance to see the diverse life along the Rufiji river up close and walking safaris and fly camping add a sense of adventure to the African experience.

Decide each day whether you prefer an early bush walk followed by a game drive and a romantic sundowner, would you rather have a sumptuous breakfast and go for a full day game drive or would like to rest and only enjoy a leisurely boat safari and watch a spectacular sunset with your favourite drink next to a noisy hippo family?

Accommodation: Selous Safari Camp / Sand River Selous

Quirimbas
Day 6 - 12
Hop over the border onto Mozambican territory. Somewhere lost in the waters of the Indian Ocean is the Quirimbas Archipelago, a series of 32 beautiful and tranquil coral islands stretching for 100 kilometers along the Mozambique coast.

Squeezed between the dazzling Indian Ocean and wild African bush, Guludo overlooks one of the most beautiful beaches in Mozambique - 12km of pristine white-powder sand. You can dive the pristine coral reefs, explore the islands, soak up the rich local culture and take in the vast African bush.
Vamizi is a twelve kilometre finger of land, stretching off the coast of Palma in the far North of Cabo Delgado, Mozambique’s northern-most province.

It remains one of the last pristine marine wilderness areas left in the Indian Ocean. Previously hidden from the outside world, Vamizi has quietly opened its doors to be explored for the first time, balancing between conservation and discreet tourism. The forested island is a holiday haven, rich in nature, but with utmost care taken to cause as little damage to the environment as possible. Visitors to the island can partake to marine activities, including blue water fishing and fly fishing, as well as scuba diving and snorkelling in some of the most pristine coral reefs in the Indian Ocean.
