Selous

Day 1 - 3

Start your journey with a scenic flight to Selous (45 min) which will give you a wonderful birds’ eye perspective of the many waterways of Africa’s largest protected wildlife reserve.

Due to its remote location, Selous has remained one of the untouched gems of Tanzania’s parks. Boating safaris offer visitors a chance to see the diverse life along the Rufiji river up close and walking safaris and fly camping add a sense of adventure to the African experience.

Decide each day whether you prefer an early bush walk followed by a game drive and a romantic sundowner, would you rather have a sumptuous breakfast and go for a full day game drive or would like to rest and only enjoy a leisurely boat safari and watch a spectacular sunset with your favourite drink next to a noisy hippo family?

Ruaha

Days 4 - 6

Fly further westward over spectacularly mountainous landscape to the remote Ruaha National Park (1.5 hours)

Ruaha National Park is a remote bastion of true wilderness, undisturbed wildlife, and breathtaking scenery. With large herds of elephants, vast concentrations of buffalo, gazelle, and over 400 bird species.

Due to its remote location, Ruaha National Park is largely unexplored and a safari there often has the feel of a private adventure and a unique experience.
Enjoy game drives with rarely seeing any other vehicles and explore the rugged landscapes of Ruaha on beautiful bush walks.

Saadani

Days 7 - 9

Take a flight back to the coast – from far, you will be able to see the turquoise Indian Ocean and meandering Wami river that leads to Saadani National Park (3 hours).

Saadani National Park and is unique for its extraordinary diversity of scenery and wildlife combining Beach, bush and river. The Wami River, which passes through the park and empties into the Indian Ocean, hosts a large population of hippos, crocodiles, flamingos, and many large bird species and is a wonderful place for early morning or sunset boat safaris.

Enjoy with diversity of safari experiences in Saadani – game drives, bush walks, boat excursions – take a leisurely walk along the beach to a small fishing village or simply relax with the sounds of the ocean and the bush.
